Locals continue to rack up dollars towards the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association World Standings, and a trip to the NFR in Las Vegas this December.

Locals continue to rack up dollars towards the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association World Standings, and a trip to the NFR in Las Vegas this December.  

Two Canadians sit in the top 15 of the all around standings.  Marty Becker of Cardston is 8th and Curtis Cassidy of Donalda holds down 14th place.

In the bareback riding, Kyle Bowers of Brooks is barely holding onto an NFR qualifying position.  He sits 15th.  Lee Graves of Calgary is a lot better off in steer wrestling, holding down third place. 

Rod Hay of Wildwood and Glen O'Neill of Didsbury are 8th and 9th respectively in saddle bronc, while in bull riding, Claresholm's Chad Besplug is in the last NFR hole at 15th.

Two Foothills Cowgirls are doing well in ladies barrel racing.  Lindsay Sears of Nanton is in 5th place, while Deb Renger of Okotoks is 10th.
