Happy Thanksgiving from AM1140 and myself!

We have a lot to be thankful for when we really think about it! One thing I am super thankful for is Made in Alberta.

It has opened my eyes to a whole new world of talent and amazing people! Thank you, the listener, for also showing your appreciation for local, homegrown music! We wouldn't be here without you! Thanks to the artists for being a part of Made in Alberta too!

This weekend, we are super excited to introduce you to Miranda Joelle, formally out of Calgary - now in Edmonton - ready to take on the Alberta country music scene with her new EP, Love on the Rocks! It's stunning!! Between her strong, shimmering vocals and story driven beautifully written songs, you're going to feel all the love for her music!

Ryan Lindsay is back! Well, over the phone! His debut single, "Doin' Alright" was released in March and now he has a new single called "Ain't We." It's going to get stuck in your head!! It goes back to traditional country sounds, but it's also infused with some modern folk and upbeat pop! Earmworm!

We are also featuring some Alberta/Canadian collaboration by Danielle Bourjeaurd with Gord Bamford, Paul Brandt and Jess Moskaluke, Aaron Pollock with Kyle Dunn and Terri Clarke with Dallas Smith!

Next weekend we will be featuring Mariya Stokes (Stavely) and Ella Hartt (Edmonton) and another artist TBD!

Join us every Saturday at 11am as we proudly put the spotlight on Alberta country music on Made in Alberta!

Have a great long weekend! Eat all the food!
