Little Britches Parade and Rodeo - High River Rodeo Grounds 10 AM to 6:30 PM

Round up your cowpokes and come on down to enjoy one of Canada’s most unique rodeos, plus a jam-packed roster of events.
The Little Britches rodeo is one of the main attractions, where kids can practice their cowboy moves in challenges such as calf roping, sheep riding and barrel busting.

Spring is in the air, and they are celebrating it with a Spring Fair! Join Granary Road May 21st to 22nd for their first-ever Spring Fair. It will be filled with all things spring; picnics, baby animals, gardening, books and more! Help them build our rock garden, meet all of their new baby animals, and learn all about their farm friends! They will have local author reading their books so make sure you listen in!

 

8th Annual Book and Bake Sale Fundraiser - 26 Hunter's Gate, Okotoks

40 Books in 365 Days is a fundraiser run by a local Okotoks family who currently supports the education of 16 children in Kisumu, Kenya through the Innocent Children Foundation. After two years of waiting, we are finally hosting our 8th Annual Book and Bake Sale. Come on out and fill a bag of books for a donation. There will also be delicious baking for sale made by us and friends.

Calaway Park Season Kick-Off - Calaway Park Calgary

Calaway Park opens for their 2022 season on May 21st, 2022! They are open on May 21st, 22nd, and 23rd from 10 am to 7 pm. They look forward to celebrating 40+1 years of family fun with you!

Curbside Giveaway Day - Okotoks 

Basically this is a day of garage sales but elevated by 100 percent and everything is FREE. Residents are encouraged to place gently used but unwanted items on the curb in front of their property between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Items should be clearly marked as free. You can include everything from books, CDs, DVD to furniture, small appliances, sports equipment, toys, kitchen gadgets and etc. Items should be in good condition and preferably in working order. And remember to respect people's property if you are participating and only grab items that say "free". Click HERE for more details.
