A video on mental health and rodeo has been released in the memory of a B.C. bull riding champion.

The Ty Pozzobon Foundation and the Canadian Pro Rodeo Sports Medicine Team (CPRSMT) unveiled the video on the second anniversary of his passing.

Pozzobon took his own life on January 9, 2017, which is believed to be in connection to the number of concussions he suffered from bull riding.

The Foundation says at the age of 25, he was a three-time Canadian Finals Rodeo qualifier and was crowned the 2016 Professional Bull Riders Canadian Champion.

The first video in the series focused on concussion awareness which reached over 67,000 views, and this second video highlights the importance of rodeo contestants being able to share when they're not ok.

"We want there to be a realization that there is help out there," says CPRSMT Vice President, Brandon Thome. "We also hope those involved in western sport continue to learn more to take further care of themselves."

The video features big names like three-time Canadian Champion bareback rider, Jake Vold.

Since the Ty Pozzobon Foundation was established, over $250,000 has been raised to protect the health and well-being of contestants inside and outside the arena.
