A smokey morning at the Beef N Brew.
Alma Frankow, who co-owns the High River restaurant with her husband Bob, dialed 9-1-1 around ten this morning after she turned on the grill and it started to smoke .
Fire crews arrived shortly after to find smoke pouring out the back of the restaurant,
They put the fire out in less than 10 minutes and Frankow, who was alone when the fire started, was not injured.
Fire chief Len Zebedee says it was a small grease fire.
Zebedee says there was no major damage, but it might take the Frankows a day or so to clean up the mess.
