Canada's economic recovery flourished last month.

A report released by Stats Canada On July 8 states 28,000 thousand jobs were added across the country, with 51,000 new public sector jobs, 22,000 private sector jobs and a decrease of 44,000 self employed workers in june.

Bonnie Smith with McBride Career Group in Okotoks says she dealt with many clients aspiring to be self-employed.



According to the report, 19,000 jobs were created in the transportation and warehousing sector as it continued to post the fastest employment growth of all industries.
Smith says there will mostly part-time service jobs in the Foothills MD.



Unemployment across the country was static in June as it stuck at 7.4%
Smith says the trends were visible.
