High River's mayor is generally happy with what he's seen of a leaked provincial report on flooding.

It calls for the government to spend 300-million dollars to avert disasters like in 2005.

Les Rempel says it didn't contain any big surprises.
He says until he sees the actual report he won't know for sure what's in it.
He is aware the province is looking at enhancing the mapping of municipalities and determining where flood prone areas are.
He says that will help with planning future developments.
