Damage to a bench and garbage can at Emerson Lake in High River wasn't caused by vandals.

According to the Town's Parks and Recreation manager the old bench became loose over the winter as a result of snow and snow removal activity. 

A temporary bench has been put in its place until a permanent one with supports can be installed.
