The Okotoks Oilers pulled one out of the fire Saturday night as they beat the league's top team, the Fort McMurray Oil Barons 4-3 in overtime.

Forward Robbie Fisher says coming off a 4-3 shoot-out loss to Canmore the night before, the Oilers were a little worried heading into the extra frame.

"We needed that win for sure, knowing that we had the lead the night before heading into the third period, and we kind of blew it. It was big bounce back game today and showed a lot of character and we got the result we wanted."

The Oilers are back on the road Tuesday as they'll look to even the score with the Eagles in Canmore.

In the meantime, the Oilers were sporting some pretty nice pink jersey's over the weekend as well as they were looking to raise money for breast cancer research.
