The Okotoks Oilers head into their weekend double header with the Brooks Bandits without their leading scorer.

Everett Sheen is out for about a week with a shoulder injury. Coach, Gary VanHereweghe, says while they'll miss Sheen, he says he's looking for other guys to step up in his place. On the other side of the puck goaltending has been solid for the oilers this season.  Starter, Brad Eidsness, sits 4th in league stats with a 2.27 goals against average, and leads the league in shut-outs with 2.   VanHereweghe says he's been pleased with his goaltenders. The Oilers take on the Brooks Bandits twice this weekend in a home and home series. The Bandits trail the Oilers by one point for 2nd spot in the AJHL's South Division.  Game two goes Saturday night at 7 in Okotoks.
