The Okotoks Bisons are off to a flying start in the Heritage B Junior Hockey League finals and are now just two wins away from reclaiming their Championship.

They blanked the Sylvan Lake Wranglers 3-0 last night at the Murray arena to take game one in the best of five finals.

Jaevon Buschlen scored his sixth goal of the playoffs with Kaleb Schuller and Alaister Standen netting the other two Bisons goals.  Standen also added an assist with Kegan Law and Brayden Kapty each picking up a pair of helpers.

And Dylan Fries earned the shutout on 27 shots while the Bisons hammered the Wranglers netminder with 47 shots.

The team will hop on a bus tomorrow night for game two in Sylvan Lake at 8.

The action then comes back to the Murray arena on Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. for game three.
