The Okotoks Bisons are back on the ice this weekend for a pretty unique opportunity.

They'll be playing back-to-back exhibitions against Korea University tomorrow (August 27) and Sunday.

It sounds like a strange matchup, and that's exactly why Bisons general manager Ryan Rarick jumped at the opportunity when he heard they were training in the area and were looking for opponents.

"It was kind of a little early for when we generally have exhibition games but I didn't want to lose out because it's kind of a neat opportunity, to play against a team like that."

Rarick isn't entirely sure what to expect.

"They've been skating now for a couple of weeks with their camp, so they wanted teams to play and it just worked out that we could do it this way. I have no idea what to expect, I have no idea what the calibre is going to be."

Korea University faced the Calgary Canucks yesterday, and if the 7-1 Calgary loss is anything to go by, the Bisons may have their work cut out for them.

Both games will be played at the Murray Arena at 7 p.m., with free admission.
