Another successful Miracle Treat Day is in the books for Okotoks Dairy Queen.

Yesterday, Aug. 10, all proceeds from every Blizzard sold went to the Children's Miracle Network supporting care facilities across the country.

Okotoks Dairy Queen sold over 1400 Blizzards yesterday, Val Majeau, DQ Operations Manager, says they raised over $7,000 for an area hospital.

"It was absolutely amazing we want to thank all participants, staff, and everyone who came in supporting this wonderful opportunity to donate to the Calgary Children's Hospital."

Majeau thanks all Okotokians for making the day as great as it was.

"We thank the Okotokians that came in and spent their hard earned money, and helped us out with this, we couldn't do it without them. I just can't say thank you enough, the people of Okotoks, people who came in, our customers, regulars and new, it was an amazing day."

She adds the day also wouldn't have been possible without Okotoks Dairy Queen's outstanding staff.

"Our staff worked so amazingly hard, and with great enthusiasm throughout all of their shifts, I'm so grateful to them because we couldn't do it without them."

Okotoks Dairy Queen accepts donations year round for the Children's Miracle Network.
