Okotoks golfer Mitchell Fox had a much better second round at the Canadian Junior Boys Golf Championship being played in Sussex, New Brunswick.

Fox carded a second round 73, and 8 shot improvement over his opening round 81 on Monday.  If he had had consecutive rounds like his second one, Fox might have been in the hunt for the Canadian Championship going into today's final round.  As it is, Fox sits 15 shots off the pace of 140, set by Nick Taylor of Abbotsford who is five shots clear of the field.

Taylor and his BC teammates also lead the inter-provincial team tournament with a two round total of 439, 15 shots ahead of the team from Quebec.

Fox's Alberta team is in fourth place.
