Okotoks RCMP are looking for witnesses to an accident involving a car and a bike on Highway 2 Tuesday about 5 p.m.
The accident happened just off the Okotoks overpass.
Police say a blue Mazda MX-6 exited onto the highway 2-A off-ramp heading towards Okotoks.
A cyclist was riding westbound on highway 2-a coming from the overpass.
The driver of the car tried but failed to avoid the cyclist.
The cyclist, an adult male received life threatening injuries and was
transported to foothills hospital by STARS air ambulance.
