Um, this weather is not ok. It's just not. Thank goodness, by Sunday we're supposed to get some warmth - if you can say -10th is warmth???

Anyways! Just put on your faux furs and cozy up! I did that and I haven't been warm outside - but inside, toasty like a marshmallow on a fire!

ANWAYS!

Our feature song is from Edmonton this week! It's from The Prairie States! It's called, "Every Little Town!"

As recipients of the 2018 ACMA awards for Rising Star and Fan’s Choice, as well as 1st place in the Project Wild Artist Development Program, it’s proof that this Edmonton based band is moving in the right direction.

They're also up for FIVE 2019 ACMA Awards! So excited for them!

Mat Cardinal, Jeff Dick, Mike Nash, Doc deGroot, and Jay Der formed The Prairie States in 2017 and immediately started writing songs for their full-length album, "Lost in The Right Direction."

They're known for "Tongue Tied," "Just Maybe" and "Lies & CIgarettes!"

You're going to love, possibly relate and repeat their brand new song, "Every Little Town," rides the soaring uplifting excitement of being a big dreamer in a little town. The song, which was produced by CCMA and Juno award winner Bart McKay, captures the “I’m going to get outta here and be someone” feeling all while wrestling with the desire to hold onto that tight knit connection that you can only get from living in a small community The video for Every Little Town was shot in the Alberta town of Bashaw, which has a very unique tie to the band.
