Foothills Eagles Football is hosting "Heads Up!" Wednesday, September 21, to raise awareness and give out information about concussions in sports.

Eagles President Cam Burbank says it's not just for football players.

"A lot of our kids play other sports, whether it's hockey or soccer. And so we're totally opening it up to the rest of the community. And we want everybody to be able to come, and to learn about it, and to ask questions and hopefully make a fun evening out of it with some special speakers."

Those include Okotoks natives and Calgary Stampeders stars Anthony Parker and Charlie Power.

The event goes from 7-to-9 P.M. in the theatre at Holy Trinity Academy High School.

They are asking anyone interested in coming to the free event to please register in advance as space is limited.
