A 3-1 win for the Rocky Mountain Raiders over the Saskatoon Stars Wednesday at the Esso Cup National Midget Girls Hockey Championships, has them in first spot with two games to go.

The girls from DeWinton are 2-and-1, and tied with Saskatoon, Brantford and Richelieu, but thanks to wins over the Stars and Ice Cats they sit number one.

They'll face the Express du Richelieu Wednesday afternoon, where a win will lock up top spot heading into the playoffs.

They wind up the round robin Thursday night against the Host Weyburn Gold Wings.

Even the wee ones are getting behind the Raiders at this year's Esso Cup in Weyburn.
