The lights and displays are up in High River's George Lane Park again for the season.

RCMP Constable Jill Kingdon-Mills has a reminder for people driving through the park to slow down to keep pedestrians safe.

"You've got this beautiful George Lane Park with lots of lights and lots of Christmas joy which means that there are a lot of pedestrians and a lot of people walking around and enjoying it and it was brought to our attention that maybe people are doing a little too fast," she says.

Constable Kingdon-Mills says the fact that people are checking out the lights means it's obviously dark and out and people may be difficult to see.

She speed limit is 10 kilometres-an-hour but she suggests keeping below that for safety.
