High River could soon be home to a resort hotel and spa. Ken and Debra Harrison estimate it'll cost 10-million dollars to build, with the majority of that spent in the town. Ken Harrison says they're aiming at the baby boomer market. It'll have 40 rooms, 6 executive suites, a pool and other amenities. The Harrisons already have a track record, having build the very popular and successful Mineral Springs Spa in Moose Jaw. He says 3-percent of the profits will be used to assist the development of third world community projects. |
