On Tuesday the Province revealed its latest plans for the southwest portion of Calgary's proposed ring road. Project Engineer Aziz Merali says it's likely there could be two ring roads built... the one as planned now, then another connecting communities south of the city.
Merali says the interchange would provide a connection further south of highway 22x, and the province is hoping to complete a study on it sometime late next year.
He adds it would look at the long range plan to extend the ring road further south in conjunction with existing plans.
The Province says the public's feedback at this week's open houses will be considered in any future plans.
They are running on Wenesday from 2-8pm and Thursday 5-8pm at the North Glenmore Park Community Association.
