Yesterday's snow storm has turned many area roads into skating rinks. Traffic accidents in the city have left at least two motorists fighting for their lives. RCMP Sergeant Patrick Webb says conditions were even worse outside the city, but luckily there were no fatalities among the dozens of crashes. RCMP in the foothills were kept hopping most of the day with crashes. Strathmore Mounties are advising against driving on the Trans-Canada East or West of Strathmore this morning. the tow ban in the region is still in effect as well. While the tow ban on highway 2 between Okotoks and Nanton has now been lifted.
