Who doesn't want a piece of HBO movie magic in their home?

With the full-length trailer for the HBO series "The Last of Us" hitting the internet eyes are turning back locally to the locations and areas it was filmed.

The television series which stars Pedro Pascal (The Mandalorian) and Bella Ramsey (Game of Thrones) has portions filmed in and around High River and Okotoks.

Some of the props have even made their way to the retail world for locals to add to their home collections.

Adanac Liquidation works with production companies to help them clear their stock while giving residents the chance to snatch up movie memorabilia.

They acquired a large selection of animatronics, clothing and props from the video game adaptation back when filming was wrapped with most selling almost instantaneously. Something that happens quite often according to co-owner Ian McAteer.

"Okotoks is in the centre of movie territory here in Alberta. We're half an hour away from High River, Turner Valley and south Calgary where a lot of productions are going on at the moment."

They still have racks of celebrity-worn clothing, various props and statues as well as a massive animatronic bear.

"That bear was our mascot when we opened and was in a quite famous U.S. tv show. His name in that show was 'Pablo Esca-bear' where he was a drug smuggling bear."

They are located at 1 Fisher Crescent in Okotoks.
