Environment Canada was calling for only 2 cm of snow today, but more than that has already fallen since Friday night.

And with the brief chinook that blew through the Foothills it brought some rain, but it quickly turned to ice once the temperature dropped, and more snow fell.

Extra caution is advised today as the snow is wet, heavy and sticky.
