I love Halloween - I'm all for spooky szn - except the haunted houses. I can't do haunted houses. I am such a weirdo, I know. I remember I got media passes to ScreamFest in Calgary when I was at SAIT and I made my friends do the haunted rooms and scenarios while I waited with the equipment. I am almost 30 and I still can't even... I love ghost tours though! I could go on one every weekend in October! I went to a few when I lived in Calgary and they were so fun and so intriguing! SO, I'm cool with those - not the jump scares or the people chasing you with chainsaw situations.

You know what is great now though, (as an adult), I can now appreciate very well decorated houses at Halloween and not have to get out of my car, and when my friends try to make me go out with them to these haunted house situations, I can just say I have to work - because adultling.

Back to the cool houses though! It's only the second weekend in Octobner and we are crushing it here in High River with people getting into the spirit of things (or should I say spirits or things)!

You still have time to decorate and if you do, it may pay off too! You can also get in on this if you're already decorated too.
