The Calgary Stampede celebrates 100 years of the Rangeland Derby this year.

It all starts with Thursday night's tarp auction at the Big Four Roadhouse on Stampede Park.

There are 27 drivers to bid on, either in person or online and businesses can bid for just one night.

Three of the top drivers on the circuit come from Foothills County, Jason Glass, Mark Sutherland, and Jordie Fike.

The races go from July 7 to 16, 2023.
