Three people face a long list of charges from the RCMP.

On Wednesday (Jan. 18), the High River RCMP say they came across a stolen vehicle near a residence in town.

Officers found three individuals who had outstanding warrants.

A search warrant was then granted for the residence near where the vehicle was located -- two guns were found along with a silencer and break-in instruments.

As a result, three people have been jointly charged with:

  • Possession of a prohibited weapon x2 (two firearms located in the residence)
  • Possession of a prohibited device (silencer)
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime x3

45-year-old Robert Fox, of no fixed address, was remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled for Feb. 27 at the Okotoks Provincial Court.

50-year-old Holly Dolton, of no fixed address, was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in Okotoks Provincial Court on Feb. 10.

58-year-old Darlene Noel of High River was released with conditions and her next appearance at Okotoks Provincial Court is also on Feb. 10.

High River Traffic Services and the Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit also assisted in the investigation.
