Strathmore's Brian Bassen is $500 richer thanks to his sixth place finish at the PGA of Alberta's Senior Men's Championship Wednesday, September 18 in Edmonton.

He shot a 2-under 70 to finish sixth, seven shots back of the winner, Daryl James from Calgary.

Elbow Springs, Scott Allred, who was looking for his fifth straight seniors title shot a 1-over 73 and had to settle for third.
