A 67 year old woman from Strathmore was killed in a head on collision on Highway 8-17 eight kilometres south of the town just before 8 Monday morning.
RCMP say a newer model pickup truck travelling north crossed the centre line and collided with a late model sedan.

The female driver of the sedan was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
She died instantly.
The two occupants of the truck received minor injuries, which were treated at the scene.
A 19 years old man from Brooks has been charged.
RCMP are reminding all drivers that the wearing of a seat belt greatly enhances your chances of surviving a collision and that airbags are not a replacement for seat belts.
