Having fun can be harder than it seems, especially after the last couple of years.

Tracy Morgan with the High River Recreation department says sometimes we just have to remember to make the effort.

"Especially when it's a bit darker in the wintertime and we're finding that we're a bit overwhelmed, we have to remember that doing fun things actually produces those feel good hormones in our bodies that make us feel good and alive and make us forget about some of the tough things in life," she says..

Morgan says it can be anything from reading a book to going for a walk, or even shovelling the snow.
