After a few months of auctions and other functions, it's time to get down and dirty for the 36 drivers of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association.

They're in Grande Prairie for the Stompede which starts Wednesday, May 31, at Evergreen Park.

High River's Jason Glass says his goals have changed this year.

And while he'll be focused on winning the Calgary Stampede, like he always does, he'll try to put equal importance on each individual show.

"I'm going to go back to more of a "day to day" and try to be more competitive throughout the year and you know tighten up and try to be closer to winning the (WPCA) World Championship. And then when the Calgary Stampede rolls around, we'll deal with that at the time."

Glass, along with High River's Jordie Fike and Okotoks Mark and Dayton Sutherland hit the track Wednesday night and run through to the "Dash for Cash" final Sunday, June 4, in the Swan City.
