A challenge has gone out to businesses in High River and around the area.

Roger Hamel with CDI International came up with the plan to help the High River District Health Care Foundation and its campaign to buy televisions for acute care rooms.

"It was real simple because I was just looking at High River Online and I noticed that the kind people that won the 50/50 draw at the Foundation's Dinner and Auction donated their portion back to the hospital and there was a comment on there that said, 'this buys almost three TVs,' and I thought to myself, well that makes perfect sense, why don't we buy a TV?"

He says they're up to six TVs already.

The Hospital Foundation Dinner and Auction brought in over $100,000 for the campaign.
