Today is Parks Day in Canada.
At the Bar U national historic site it just happens to be haying time as well.
Ross Fritz with Parks Canada says putting up feed with horses is a unique experience for visitors.
Fritz says the windrows of hay will be picked up with a horse drawn sweep and stacked with an overshot staker.
He hopes the operation, depending on the weather will be complete over the next week.
