The Tsuut'ina Nation Police Service (TNPS) investigated the unexplained death last week.
On Monday, August 8 at around 9 a.m., AHS and TNPS were called to a residence on North Sarcee Road where a man in his sixties was said to be in medical distress.
He was transported to hospital, and declared deceased the following day at 1:30 p.m.
The cause of his death was unknown, and TNPS launched an investigation into the circumstances of the death and the events that led to the emergency call.
They were aided by the Calgary Police service and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit.
An autopsy was performed on Friday, August 11, and the death was deemed non-criminal in nature.
As a result, they won’t be releasing further details.
