There's been a big crash at a major intersection in High River.

Two vehicles were involved at the intersection of 5th Street and 12th Avenue near the fire hall.

A red, SUV type vehicle was completely flipped over while another truck was also damaged.

There were two fire trucks on scene along with an ambulance and RCMP and a Peace officer directing traffic.

The vehicles have been towed away and the road has been reopened.
