According to Alberta Parks, on Tuesday, June 21, those wishing to visit Kananaskis, will be able to do so without purchasing a Conservation Pass. The waving of the conservation pass fee is in celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day.
The day is meant to be a day for, "all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples."
Typically, the price of a day pass that registers one vehicle is $15, while a yearly pass costs $90 and registers up to two vehicles.
