The recent influx of warm weather continues on Boxing Day with a high of 7 Celsius expected.

It's also expected to be windy with a southwest wind of 20 km/h gusting up to 40 and upwards of 60 or 80 over southern section's late this morning and this afternoon.

However, by tonight and into Tuesday morning the driving conditions could prove challenging with a 60 per cent chance of freezing rain in the Environment Canada forecast.

The southwest wind is expected to continue until tomorrow evening as the temperature drops to an overnight low of -5.
