The Town of Okotoks' wayfinding signs will be going up soon.

New signs from phase one of the program are to be installed next month.

The lengthy design phase of the project started in 2020, with Okotokians invited to weigh in via a public survey.

The wayfinding signs are intended to increase patronage, better guide pedestrians and motorists through town, and will share a common design theme.

On the week of August 8, older directional signs will be removed, with the new signs to be installed the week after.

Minor traffic disruptions are expected.
