A slight improvement in COVID-19 numbers over the weekend, with active cases down to 1090.

257 new cases were identified over the weekend; 108 on Friday, 101 on Saturday, and 48 on Sunday.

The province's geospatial data shows four cases in the Town of Okotoks with a total of 9 cases in the Okotoks-Priddis region, with three cases in the Town of High River and a total of 5 cases in the High River region.

Black Diamond and Claresholm regions each have two, and the Vulcan area has four.

Five deaths were reported since Friday, with 213 total losses of life reported in the province.

66 Albertans are being treated in hospital, with 14 in intensive care.

Over 10,300 recoveries have been recorded in the province.
