Wild Rose Community Connections is celebrating a new amalgamated location.

Marianne Dickson says one of the programs to be brought under one roof is Dad's Central.

"Rhonda Longson has done an amazing job of pulling that program together and again responding to 'what are dad's saying, what do they want, what do they need' and she will come up with activities and events and she's out in the community and she's bringing in support from businesses so it's a real community effort," Dickson says.

She says over 23 years they've expanded from a single program to four.

"We outgrew our space at Food Rescue so we figured it's time where with our Caring Connections Program also growing we needed to bring all of our programs together under one roof because we were serving some of the same people across our four programs and so we thought we need more space so let's do it, so we were fortunate to work with Blair Gordon over at Century 21, if it wasn't for him this wouldn't have been possible,"

Their new location is just two blocks south of Food Rescue on 1st Avenue.

Dad's Central is putting on a special free event Thursday April 21 starting at 5:30 with food and then games at the Cargill Field House.
