Live events for the 2022 Festival will run from June 2-5, and online content will be streamed from May 29-June 12.

The Okotoks Film Festival is an international film spectacle showcasing artists from around the globe. Every year we see a magnitude of films submitted to the festival, and we are thrilled to bring the very best to Okotoks.

The Festival includes two weeks of online screenings and four days of in-person film events for all audience types, workshops with industry professionals, and the screening of our popular 48-Hour Filmmaking Challenge!

Flag raising, crosswalk painting, drag performances, live music, patios, food, drinks, local businesses, a resource fair, a kids’ zone and a Love Local market at the Street Festival capped off with a Drag Show Finale on the main stage. DJ MegaDyke will be on deck, accompanying six Kings & Queens while they do their thing on Elizabeth St. from 6-8 PM. 

Bring a chair, grab a blanket, maybe some snacks, and get ready for a street show, unlike anything Okotoks has ever seen before. This is a first you won’t want to miss!

Stop into the Environmental Education Centre and bring and swap your gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. All sizes are welcome. Bring some, take some! 

  • 10 AM to 12 Noon: Drop off gently used clothes so we can get the swap set up
  • 12 Noon to 4 PM: Clothing swap - drop in and take anything you need!
