High River is jam-packed as well!  The Balloon Glow is Friday night, a drive-in Friday night, the burnout Saturday night, another drive-in Saturday night and the car show Sunday!

Okotoks United Church Event - Annual Turkey Supper

The Okotoks United Church is back to in-person dining for its annual Turkey Supper on Sunday, Sept 25.  The doors open at 4:30 and the buffet meal will be served at 5:30.  

There will be turkey and cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, vegetables, stuffing, gravy, coleslaw, pickles and buns.   For dessert, there are homemade pies in a variety of flavours including pumpkin!  Gluten-free options are available.   All the food is lovingly prepared by the people of Okotoks United Church.  

There is also a take-out option from 4:30 to 6:00.  

Tickets are $30 for adults, $20 for ages 7-12 and FREE for 6 and under.  Tickets are available by calling 403-938-4357 until Friday, Sept 23 or at the door while tickets last.  

All funds raised support the work of the United Church in Okotoks.

Downtown High River - All day

One of the biggest events to hit High River is back in September. While this is the 18th annual Show and Shine, it's being re-dedicated to honour long-time volunteer and supporter Brian Chipchase.

The car show has at times had more than 1,200 vehicles registered with thousands in attendance!

Once again this year the Foothills Fetal Alcohol Society is helping to organize the event.
