The first place team in the south division, Brooks Bandits proved to be a tough team to beat Friday night as the Oilers fell 6-1.
Oilers' Tyler Levine came out in the first period to open up scoring, but the Bandits took advantage on their power-plays, scoring two goals in the first and followed up with four goals in the second period.
The Bandits out-shot the Oilers 37-29.
The Oilers look to pull up their socks Saturday night as they host the Camrose Kodiaks.
