As always, expectations are high heading into the hockey season for the Okotoks Bisons in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League.

Second year Coach, Chris Beston, says this year's team will be more "his" team than the team he inherited in his first season.

"Yeah, I'll be a lot more comfortable and this year I'm going to have a lot more expectations. Last year was kind of a "feel out" year, just trying to get to know some of the players and you know, it wasn't my team. But slowly and eventually everybody will become my players."

They get things started with a conditioning camp the last week in August before hitting the ice for their main camp after Labour Day.

They'll play a couple of pre-season games Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8 against the High River Flyers.
