The Okotoks Bisons are getting ready to get back on the ice and fire up another season of hockey in the Heritage Junior "B" Loop.

Bisons GM Brent Trevors says they'll get their first look at who's coming back and maybe some newbies at a conditioning camp in the last week of August.

He says of the players he knows he has coming back, they're a good group, who are going to do big things this season.

"Right now, the group we know we have coming back have all played in the league for the most part. We think we're going to have a really good young group. We're 1999 heavy and that bodes well for this year and next year."

The Bisons hold their main camp the first week of September, capping it off with a pair of pre-season games against the High River Flyers Friday, September 7 and Saturday, September 8.
