Number 12 will never be worn by another Calgary Flame.

Jarome Iginla's jersey is going to the rafters.

The Calgary Flames are retiring Iggy's number on March 2.

Iginla played 16 seasons with the Calgary Flames amassing 525 goals, 570 assists for a total of 1095 points.

Not only was the former team captain the leader in goals during his time with the Flames but also wasn't afraid to drop the mitts. He spent a total 1040 minutes in the sin bin and retired in July of 2018.

The pregame ceremony takes place prior to the puck drop of the Calgary Flames versus the Minnesota Wild.
