Six days of chuckwagon racing are all set to get going at the Ponoka Stampede starting Wednesday, June 28.

It's the final tune-up before the big dance at the Rangeland Derby starting next week in Calgary.

But the driver's have plenty to race for as they'll look to get into that final four for Monday, July 3, and the $50,000 "Dash for Cash" final.

There's also some points up for grabs in the WPCA World Championship standings.

Kurt Bensmiller leads the way, with High River's Jason Glass about 150 points back in seventh spot.

Okotoks Mark Sutherland's 15th, while Jordie Fike and Dayton Sutherland bring up the rear.
