Even a rain delay couldn't stop the Okotoks Dawgs from earning their fourth win on an extended road trip in Saskatchwan.

The clouds parted long enough for the Dawgs to win, 8-2, over the Melville Millionaires.

Greg Cullen wasted no time crushing a 2-2 fastball for his third home run of the season, his first at-bat after a brief pause for lightning, before Matt Lloyd extended his hitting streak to 19.

It was Lloyd's second home run of the Saskatchewan road trip and it echoed throughout the field, flying over 400-feet for his seventh home run of 2017.

With a 3-2 lead in the ninth, Cullen would later double his home run total on the year with a three-run shot to put this one out of reach.

Okotoks travels to Regina to take on the Red Sox on July 22  as part of the final two-game series of the road trip.

First pitch flies at 7:05pm.
