The two Okotoks high school football teams went head to head on September 21 in the anticipated rival matchup at the Holy Trinity Academy.

It was the annual game between the Holy Trinity Academy Knights, versus the Foothills Falcons.

In the end, the Falcons won the battle for Okotoks, defeating the Knights 14-3, in a defense heavy game.

The falcons next opponent is the Vernon Senior Panthers on September 28, while the Knights next game is the Crescent Heights Cowboys, on the same day.

The Cobras fall to the Cougars in Claresholm on September 21.

Meanwhile, the night also paired the Catholic Central Cougars against the Willow Creek Cobras.

The Cougars win this matchup, but not by much, defeating the Cobras 26-21.
