High River's Jordie Fike remains in the hunt after the second night of chuckwagon racing up in Dawson Creek at the "Battle of the North."

He had the 13th fastest time on the night, but it moved him up the ladder a notch into seventh spot in the aggregate, with a couple more nights of racing to get into the top four.

High River's Jason glass was 17th on the night, while Okotoks Mark Sutherland was 20th and Dayton Sutherland was 30th.

Chanse Vigen had the fast time of the night, which moves him into fifth spot, with John Walters, Mike Vigen, Rick Fraser and Chad Fike holding down the top four spots heading into night three of racing Friday, August 11.
